Horse Feathers is currently on tour in support of their third studio album, Thistled Spring, available on the Portland-based, Kill Rock Stars label. We caught up with the man behind the music, Justin Ringle, as he was finishing up lunch on the windy streets of Buffalo, New York. What followed was a lively conversation concerning the band’s upcoming travels, his personal theories on songwriting and woodshedding, and several reasons why Portland is the best city in the nation to obtain and cure a hangover.
